NAIC Suitability Updates: New Suitability Review Form and Marketing Material Available!
Use our updated marketing material to navigate the revised form, effective Jan. 1, 2021
To better align with the NAIC Suitability in Annuity Transaction Model Regulation (275), Suitability form 10068 has been renamed to Consumer Profile Information. There is no change to the form number.
To expedite processing and help eliminate back-and-forth with our producers, some areas of the Consumer Profile Information form have been clarified and reformatted to mitigate NIGO’s. Additionally, the Agent signature section (Section VI) has been updated to remove questions asking if investment advice was provided or analysis regarding the recommendation of liquidating securities products. Removing these questions in the Agent signature section will also eliminate NIGO’s.
To help you navigate the updated Consumer Profile Information form, we have updated the Navigating a Smooth Ride marketing brochure. Please review this document to help ensure accuracy in completing the updated form. Both of these documents go into effect on January 1, 2021.
