How to Get More Facebook Likes: 6 Tactics That Actually Work
Don't underestimate the power of social media.
You’ve heard it before: Don’t underestimate the power of social media. If you’ve created a Facebook business page, are active and posting regularly (if you’re still in the process of this, check out our tips box below), you’re probably also paying attention to the number of Likes you have. Want to bump up that number?
Check out our six tactics to get more Facebook Likes:
- Deliver quality content: We’ve made it easy by crafting quality content you can use (see the tips box below). Make sure you’re posting consistently!
- We recommend posting a minimum of 3 times per week. Posting once per day, with a maximum of two posts per day, is ideal.
- Host a webinar: If you’re hosting a webinar, use your Facebook page to promote your event, and in turn, mention your Facebook page with all of your attendees during the webinar.

- Invite your current customers and connections: Talking or emailing with a current client? Put in a shameless plug to like your page so they can stay up-to-date with your business. Facebook also makes it easy to invite your personal Facebook connections to like your business page.
- Include links to your social profiles in your email signature: You probably get dozens and maybe hundreds of emails a day, which means you’re also sending emails. Consider adding a link to your Facebook page in your email signature to drive more traffic.
- Engage with other brands and communities on Facebook: Remember – Facebook is a social network and through your networking with other community organizations, you can effectively build your own brand. A simple Like or comment on another’s post can help draw their attention and open up opportunities to work together to cross-promote your businesses so you both gain more Facebook Likes.
- Cross-promote on Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram: Take advantage of the following you may have built on your other social media channels.
