Coming Soon: Newly Updated Life & Annuity Compliance Manual
Substantive revisions are on their way. Stay tuned!
Your Life & Annuity Compliance Team has been hard at work updating the Compliance Manual to provide you with the tools you need when selling NLG products and servicing our mutual customers. The new version of the Manual is designed to be your guide in navigating regulatory uncertainty and offers “Tips for Success” throughout to assist with Selling Appropriately, Legally, and Ethically (“SALE”).
The last update to the Manual was completed in October 2019, so most sections have had substantive revisions. Most notably to the Advertising section. Additionally, a few new sections have been added:
- Conflicts of Interest
- Fair Competition & Unfair Trade Practices
- Licensing, Appointments, & Terminations
- Soliciting Business
- New York Addendum (for those producers licensed and appointed to sell to NY)
