Reminders from the Life Rewrite Team

Tips for submitting your requests!

The Life Rewrite Team processes rewrites for

  • Face amount changes
  • Death benefit option changes
  • GPT/CVAT
  • Date of birth
  • MEC status
  • Product type
  • Riders
  • Age, and
  • Sex.

These changes may be made up to 120 days from the day the application was signed.

Please submit your email request with an illustration and other necessary forms to Rewrites@nationallife.com.  If premium, riders or strategy allocations are affected please submit the required forms with your rewrite request.

It is not necessary to send your case manager a rewrite request.  The above email address will direct the work to the rewrite team.

To minimize charge backs for paid rewrite cases, we will hold and process work around commission cutoffs to ensure that your commissions are not impacted.

Rewrites are reviewed within 48 hours.  If a case is In Good Order it will be processed within 3 to 5 business days.  We will keep you informed of the status of your request.

Please note that some changes may require additional processing time.
