New Portal Enhancements!
A number of exciting updates have been made to both the agent & customer portal views.
Please review the features summarized below and begin taking advantage of them right away!
SPDA Rate Lock Expiration Timer
Improved transparency to initial Rate funding deadlines on New Business Policies.
The Rate Lock Expiration Timer is now shown on SPDA policies in New Business to clearly indicate the funding date required to receive the applied-for interest rate.
Rate Lock details can be found on the Annuity Rate Sheets published in the Agent Portal through the path below:
Products > Interest Rates > Current Annuity Rates > LSW Annuity Interest Rates
Updated Transfer Details UI in New Business
Streamlined access and improved visibility to New Business Transfer Details.
Transfer Details are now shown at the top of the New Business policy details page.
Expand the view to see comprehensive transfer details including comments, funds expected/received, and status for each transfer.
Note: Transfer information is still available on the Transfer Report
Navigation Improvements
Making it easier for you to stay on top of your business.
An updated navigation menu now shows Policy Counts to help you locate policies within:
- Inforce
- New Business
- Transfers & Exchanges
Payment Notifications for Customers
Making it easier for customers to stay connected to policy activities.
Now clients will be promptly informed about payment activities through email notifications to help them manage their policies and stay up to date on payment-related events.
Email Notifications will be sent for Life and Annuity policies including information about:
Upcoming Draft: Sent 5 days before a scheduled draft
Payment Processing: Sent when a payment is being processed
Payment Failure: Sent after a payment transaction failure or return
Newly Contracted with National Life?
Get started features for New Agents are now available on the Agent Mobile App!
For agents newly contracted with National Life, view tasks and videos that are essential to learning how to do business with National Life Group.
- Tasks are automatically marked completed as you take action.
- Your progress is updated on the App and Portal so you don’t have to complete all tasks in a single session or on a single platform.
- Note some tasks can only be completed on the Agent Portal where you can access your Compensation records or complete training.
