National Teacher Appreciation Day is May 7
Tuesday, May 7 is Teacher Appreciation Day! Celebrate Teacher Appreciation day by living our values of Do Good. Be Good. Make Good. Share one of our great programs with teachers in your community, or find other ways to recognize and say thank you to a teacher or educator that helped you get to where you are today.
This program recognizes school employees across the country for making a positive impact in the lives of students and their communities. So often, these people are responsible for providing education, care, support and encouragement to the youth of America, to our children; yet they are frequently some of the least recognized employees in the country. Since its inception, our LifeChanger of the Year program has awarded more than $200,000 to schools and educators and has provided recognition to more than 1,500 school employees.
This program promotes reading and literacy for K-12 students, and provides agents with a turnkey promotional program to execute at school campuses. Studies have shown that literacy and reading comprehension are vital components to overall student success, but vast demands on school resources often require school campuses to limit the focus they can provide to programs dedicated to improving literacy and reading. Prizes for Pages is a scalable program that National Life Group agents can use at the district or campus level in order to help increase reading efforts at all grade levels.
