Forms and Materials Best Practices

Accessing agent and consumer marketing pieces, forms and applications via the MerrillConnect ordering system.

National Life is committed to ensuring that you have the best materials available to help support your business.

Using the Forms and Materials icon on the Agent Portal, you can access agent and consumer marketing pieces, forms and applications via the MerrillConnect ordering system. Items may be downloaded (web link), e-mailed directly through the system, or printed and shipped.

Here are some tips to help make sure you have what you need:

  • Save Your Search
    Links to materials and forms can be saved directly. You can always refer back to the item without logging into the system, which ensures you have the most recent version if changes were made.
  • Ordering Materials
    If you need printed materials, please only order what you currently will use. Many items are modified frequently and should not be “placed on a shelf” for future use because they can become outdated quickly.
  • Emailing
    If you are e-mailing a piece, you can do so directly from MerrillConnect. You can also copy and paste the link into Outlook or your e-mail client directly.
  • Shipping
    National Life will cover the cost of standard orders (ground shipping) only. If overnight shipping is requested it will be at your cost.
  • Important Note on Quantities
    For printed pieces, an item limit may be in place. If you need larger quantities, please work your distribution leader so your needs can be accommodated. Please do not place multiple, smaller orders to get a higher quantity of a single item as they may be cancelled.

For product applications, if eApp is available it will be indicated in the search results. This is the  fastest way to process your business.
