Last Session Remains for the Art and Science of Indexing Webinar Series
Register today to better understand indexing to drive sales.
Indexes for universal life and annuities provides a unique way of crediting interest to policyholders with upside potential and downside protection. Yet simple on the surface, there is a complexity underneath that many agents have difficulty navigating. This special mini series will walk you through how indexing works, a tour through all of NLG’s indexes, how boosters and enhancers work, and a deep dive into the Credit Suisse Balanced Trend index. Throughout these sessions you will not only learn the science behind indexing but also the art of how to position them with clients.
Our panelists will include experts from the Home Office and the field. Register for all four sessions and you will increase your confidence and competency when discussing indexing with your clients! (Note: each week will have two sessions to select from based on your schedule; the content will be the same in each). Register below or on the Training Calendar.

Markets are finnicky and unpredictable yet volatility control indexes, such as the Credit Suisse Balanced Trend index, are designed to smooth the ups and downs. In this final session of the four-part series, you will learn:
- What the Credit Suisse Balanced Trend index’s investment methodology is and how its ‘adaptive’ allocation strategy works.
- The benefits of diversification across asset classes over time.
- The answers to these questions: How do they make decisions day to day on trading? What asset classes can they purchase options on? Why can they offer a 130% participation rate and no cap? Why do they watch the VIX Index so closely – what is it and why is it important?
- The Credit Suisse Balanced Trend index’s historical results.
- How to position this index with your clients among all the other choices.
