2023 Do Good Heroes Awarded at Do Good Fest Texas

National Life Group’s Do Good Heroes allows financial professionals to recognize fire-rescue and police departments and personnel for community service activities above and beyond their public safety duties.
On Saturday, September 23, National Life Group recognized the Do Good Heroes Grand Prize Winners at the second annual Do Good Fest Texas:
Sam Job, President of the Lake Rayburn Volunteer Fire Department in Texas was nominated by Chotsie Bickerstaff with Retirement Education Partners.
Alfredo Jimenez, an officer with the Tempe Police Department in Arizona was nominated by Matthew Garcia with Arrive Financial Services.
As winners, each of these brave men were awarded $5,000 to donate to the nonprofits of their choice. Mr. Job has selected the Lake Rayburn Volunteer Fire Department to receive these much needed funds as they continue to fight wildfires in East Texas. Officer Jimenez’s award will be split between Heart Heals AZ and Phenix Sports Academy.
