The Jose Colorado Story – The Power of Peace of Mind

Our new client video shares a powerful message on how life insurance brings peace of mind

Jose Colorado passed away due to complications from COVID, leaving his three children parent-less. In a tragic situation these children were comforted when they learned their father had purchased a life insurance policy – and they want to share their story with others. “I know this is something that was not easy for my dad to do – in our culture – we don’t speak about death, it’s hard. It’s a topic that’s hard to talk about but it needs to be talked about – having a plan.”

Jose’s son and beneficiary, Jesus Colorado, shares that as a Hispanic family, talking about death and life insurance is not common practice, but his father had the foresight to make a plan that would protect his family when he passed.

“And now he is gone with that peace of mind”, shares Jesus.

While this powerful story will surely resonate with all of your clients, it’s a great time to share this with your Hispanic clients – Hispanic Heritage Month is happening Now!

Did you know?

Hispanic Heritage began in 1968 under President Lyndon Johnson and was initially only for a week. National Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. This was later expanded by President Ronald Reagan in 1988 to cover a full 30-day period starting September 15 and ending October 15.

The 2020 Census shows…

The Hispanic or Latin population, which includes people of any race, was 62.1 million in 2020. The Hispanic or Latin population grew 23%, while the population that was not of Hispanic or Latin origin grew 4.3% since 2010.

Slightly more than half (51.1%) of the total U.S. population growth between 2010 and 2020 came from growth in the Hispanic or Latin population.
