Spotlight Awards Are Now Open
Nominations for the 2023-24 LifeChanger are now open.
It takes a village to raise a child, and custodians and janitors play a big role in that village. They’re not only keeping schools clean, but creating safe environments for students to learn and teachers to work. We’re proud to honor them this year through our LifeChanger Spotlight Award.
HOW IT WORKS
Tell us a story about how your school’s custodian has gone above and beyond in your community. Maybe they teach students about the importance of washing their hands. Maybe they help students find safe places to live so they can focus on their academics. Or, maybe they’re “that educator” whose door is always open for students in need of a listening ear. However your LifeChanger is making a beneficial difference in students’ lives, let us know by completing our nomination form.
Once your nomination is submitted, we’ll take care of the rest.
-Each LifeChanger will have a unique profile* built on our website so their story can be shared. Colleagues, students, friends, and family – anyone who supports the nominee – can visit their LifeChanger’s profile and leave a comment.
-We share our LifeChangers’ profiles and stories on social media.
-Each LifeChanger receives a personalized certificate.
-We notify the local press about the amazing LifeChangers in their area.
By the end of 2023, one custodian will be chosen as our Spotlight Award winner, and they’ll be surprised at their school with a $5,000 cash prize to be shared with their school.
