Religious Organizations are Plan Sponsors Too!

403(b)(9), or “religious retirement,” plans are tax-advantaged retirement savings plans intended to meet the specific needs of faith-based organizations or those with 501(c)(3) status and an alternative market in which you can open payroll slots. 403(b)(9) plans are open to all employees, but employers can decide to whom they will offer them, and employer contributions are optional.

How do 403(b)(9) church plans differ from 403(b) Plans
