Nominations for the 2025-26 LifeChanger Community College Spotlight Award Are Now Open

When you think of selling in the 403(b) space, you might think of K–12 teachers and school employees — but have you considered community college faculty and staff? 

Community colleges play a vital role in student education, providing opportunities for flexible learning and career-focused training. National Life is here to help you honor them through our LifeChanger of the Year Community College Spotlight Award. 

Recognizing Dedication and Impact

This award celebrates the unique contributions of community college faculty and staff to student success, workforce development, and lifelong learning. It shines a light on those who go above and beyond to make a lasting difference in their students’ lives and communities. 

How It Works

If you know an outstanding community college professor or staff member who deserves to be recognized, complete the LifeChanger of the Year nomination form and share their story. Tell us how they’ve helped students develop the skills and confidence to thrive in today’s economy. 

Can’t think of anyone to nominate? Share the link to our nomination form with your contacts and encourage them to submit a nomination — eligible individuals can even nominate themselves! 

Once your nomination is submitted, we’ll take care of the rest: 

• Each LifeChanger will have a unique profile built on our website so their story can be shared. 

• Colleagues, students, friends, and family can visit their LifeChanger’s profile and leave a comment of support. 

• We’ll feature LifeChanger profiles and stories on social media. 

• Each LifeChanger receives a personalized certificate. 

• We’ll notify the local press about the amazing LifeChangers in their area.

Award Details

In the spring of 2026, one community college faculty or staff member will be selected as our Community College Spotlight Award winner. The winner will be surprised with $5,000, shared equally between the winner and their school — recognizing both personal excellence and institutional impact.

Promotional materials — including brochures, posters, and other resources — are available on Merrill to help you spread the word and encourage nominations within your community.
