NL Insider Jan 8- Nominations Are Now Open for the 2026–2027 National Life Group LifeChanger of the Year Program

National Life Group is proud to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026–2027 LifeChanger of the Year® Award Program, honoring exceptional K–12 educators and school employees who make a lasting impact on the lives of students, families, and communities.

The LifeChanger of the Year program recognizes teachers, administrators, and school support staff who go above and beyond—whether by inspiring academic success, fostering inclusivity, supporting student well-being, or strengthening their school communities in meaningful ways.

About the Awards

For the 2026–2027 award cycle, 15 LifeChanger of the Year winners will be selected nationwide. In total, 15 awards with cash prizes shared equally with their school or school district:

• Grand Prize Winner (1): $20,000
• Runner Up (4): $5,000
• LifeChangers (10): $3,000

These awards celebrate educators not only for what they teach, but for how they lead, inspire, and change lives.

Who Can Be Nominated?

Any K–12 teacher, administrator, or school employee in public, private or charter schools located in the United States is eligible. Nominations may be submitted by NLG agents, students, parents or guardians, colleagues, administrators, or community members. Self-nominations are also welcome.
