The client portal is a powerful tool that gives clients direct access to manage key aspects of their accounts—saving time and enhancing transparency. As an agent, you can help your clients feel confident navigating the portal by showing them how to use its most impactful features:
Change Indexing Strategy
Clients can easily adjust their indexing strategy to align with their financial goals. Whether they’re shifting toward a more conservative or aggressive approach, the portal makes it simple to initiate changes.
You can also change your indexing strategy on the mobile app.
Request Funds
Need access to funds? Clients can submit withdrawal requests directly through the portal, streamlining the process and reducing turnaround time.

Update Beneficiaries
Life changes happen, and keeping beneficiary information up to date is crucial. The portal allows clients to make these updates quickly and securely. To help your clients get started, walk them through the portal using the screenshots below. A quick demo can go a long way in building trust and encouraging self-service.
1. Log into your portal at NationalLife.Com
2. Find the top navigation bar > select Self Service > select Change Beneficiary
3. Select the policy that you would like to change your beneficiary on
4. Fill out the beneficiary information form, then press continue to walk through the steps of changing your beneficiary.
5. Fill out Primary Beneficiaries (Up to 20 can be named)
6. Fill out Secondary Beneficiaries (Up to 20 can be named)
7. Click on Submit and you’re done!
