Empowering Educators: National Life Group’s Back to School Supply Grants

Each year, K-12 educators – including your clients and prospects – spend an average of $500-750 of their own money on classroom supplies.¹ National Life Group is helping to #ClearTheLists by awarding ten $500 Back to School Supply Grants through our LifeChanger of the Year program.

Last year, we received over 400 applications and awarded 10 grants. Each grant was presented to the winner by a National Life agent, including Mark Barnette of ValuTeachers, who surprised two teachers in his community.

Now? It’s YOUR turn to get involved.

HOW IT WORKS:

• Beginning July 1, share the application with your clients and prospects. Any K-12 public, private, or charter school teacher or employee is eligible.
• Encourage them to apply and make sure they have all the necessary information they need, including a link to their classroom wishlist.
• After applications close, we’ll select ten applicants to receive a $500 grant towards classroom supplies.
• If your client or one of your prospects wins, we’ll invite you to help present the grant.

Applications open from July 1 – August 15, 2025.

As a bonus: All strong applicants will be automatically entered into the 2025-26 National Life Group LifeChanger of the Year program. This means they’ll receive additional recognition and the opportunity to win cash prizes up to $20,000 to share with their schools.
