National Life and NAWBO Celebrate Women Entrepreneurs

The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) recently hosted a multi-day event to celebrate the remarkable achievements of women entrepreneurs across California.

National Life Group proudly sponsored the event, with Rebecca Dunne, Field EVP of the Affiliated Channel, participating in a panel discussion on women’s leadership and entrepreneurship. The event also featured motivational talks, networking sessions, sales strategies and the recognition of the exceptional contributions of local women business owners in the community.

National Life was well represented at the event’s marketing fair by Lou Martinez, Regional Development Officer and the Southern California Agency, led by Jimmy Barnes. Melissa Northway, a National Life agent, attended as the outgoing President of NAWBO California.

One of the highlights of the event was the keynote address delivered by Chaunte Lowe, National Life’s esteemed leadership spokesperson. Chaunte, a trailblazer in both athletics and entrepreneurship, shared insights from her incredible journey as a three-time Olympian and American record holder in the high jump.

Drawing from her experiences as a once-licensed life insurance agent, Chaunte provided invaluable lessons on setting high standards, staying committed, and fostering leadership qualities.
