Life Insurance Participation Rates Are Going Up!

Effective February 14, 2025.

Participation rates for US Pacesetter and Balanced Trend are going up, starting with the February 14 sweep.

For policies issued before May 1, 2023

  • Balance Trend: The participation rate will go up from 145% to 155%
  • US Pacesetter: The participation rate will go up from 145% to 165%

For policies issued on May 1, 2003, or later

  • Balance Trend: The participation rate will go up from 215% to 225%
  • US Pacesetter: The participation rate will go up from 235% to 245%

 

US Pacesetter and Balanced Trend are volatility-controlled indexes that are available with National Life indexed universal life policies.
