IUL Participation Rates Going Up!

For Balanced Trends and US Pacesetter index crediting strategies.

Starting with the 10/14/2023 sweeps (illustrations available from 9/15/2023 for new issues), National Life Group will be raising participation rates by 10% on the Balanced Trends Index and the US Pacesetter Index. Both strategies are low-volatility indexes and have no caps and a zero floor.

  • Balanced Trends will go from 200% to 210%
  • US Pacesetter will go from 215% to 225%.

The increase in the participation rate will not affect max illustration rates — you will see the impact in the historical lookback table on the illustration.
