Celebrating Our 2025 Agent Do Good Award Winners

At National Life, Doing good is in our DNA and for almost 177 years, it’s fueled our purpose to bring peace of mind to everyone we serve. That mission comes alive every day through the dedication and compassion of our agents. The Agent Do Good Award honors those who go above and beyond, not just for their clients, but for their communities.

Each year one agent from the Independent Channel and one from the Affiliated Channel are selected to receive the award and a $7,500 donation to support the causes they champion.

Greg Komsky
Founder & CEO, Foundation Financial

For more than 14 years, Greg has been a trusted partner with National Life, serving educators and public employees with integrity and care. Through his work with the California Correctional Supervisors Organization and its foundation, Greg advocates for mental health, financial literacy, and family support—especially for those who serve our communities. Whether he’s speaking at conferences or guiding individuals one-on-one, Greg brings our Do Good mission to life every day.

Maram Alaiwat
White Plains Agency, Thoroughbred Advisors

Maram’s impact is as broad as it is deep. A dedicated mother of three, doctoral candidate, and top producer, she also leads with purpose through her service on the boards of Detroit PBS and the American Lung Association – Michigan. Her leadership is bold, strategic, and deeply rooted in community. From expanding access to education to advancing health equity across the state, Maram exemplifies what it means to “Do good. Be good. Make good.”
