National Life Group named to 2025 Ward’s 50 Top Life Insurance Companies list
National Life Group has been named on the 2025 Ward’s 50, an annual list of the country’s 50 best life and health insurance performers, based on financial health.
2025 marks the fifth consecutive year in which National Life has been named as an industry leader for its extraordinary financial performance. In the 35 years the list has been produced, National Life has appeared on it 17 times.
“In selecting the Ward’s 50, we identify companies that pass financial stability requirements and measure their ability to grow while maintaining strong capital positions and underwriting results,” according to the Ward’s 50 announcement.
Over the past five years, National Life has increased life insurance sales by 71% versus the 20% industry growth rate.1 National Life has been #1 in Fixed Indexed Annuity Sales within employer-sponsored retirement plans for more than 10 consecutive years2 and is currently #7 in Individual Life Insurance Sales across all reporting U.S. life insurance companies.3
