Terminal Illness and Nursing Care riders
Despite attractive interest rates, some customers may find annuities less appealing due to their time commitment; however, certain life events may make annuities a good choice. In approved states our FIT series of annuities have Nursing Care and Terminal Illness riders that give customers access to up to $250,000 if they are diagnosed terminally ill or are confined to a nursing care facility. Check out some of the additional benefits these riders offer your clients!
Terminal Illness Rider
- There is no additional cost for the Terminal Illness Benefit Rider.
- The Terminal Illness Benefit Rider could eliminate Withdrawal Charges for the Annuitant on one withdrawal if requirements are met and received.
- Provides access to up to $250,000 of your money without penalty if diagnosed terminally ill.
Nursing Care Rider
- Provides access up to $250,000 of your money if under 76 at issue without penalty if confined to a nursing care facility. If 76 or older at issue there is a onetime 20% penalty free withdrawal.
