5 Reasons to Sell National Life Term Policies

We’re a little different. Find out how.

For many clients, term life insurance is a good, affordable way to protect their families. Here are a few reasons why they may want to consider buying a term policy from National Life Group:

1. Living Benefits

  • National Life Group is one of the few companies offering a full suite of Living Benefits with term life insurance — at no extra cost¹.

2. EZ Underwriting

  • If certain criteria are met, clients may not need to take medical or exams or do fluid tests — up to $2 million dollars of coverage.
  • EZ Underwriting is available for all rate classes.

3. Conversion Privileges

  • Clients with a term life insurance policy can choose to convert to any of our permanent life insurance products. It is not common to have a full suite of permanent products to choose from when converting a term life insurance policy.
  • Clients can convert without providing proof of insurability.

4. Waiver of Premiums

  • If clients have a term life policy with a Waiver of Premium rider and become disabled, they can elect to have premiums waived. This remains an option if they choose to convert their term life insurance policy to a permanent life insurance policy.

5. Group Insurance

  • Most group insurance offers standard and a smoking rate class. National Life Group provides a wider range of options (including elite rate class), and determines rates based on your clients’ health.
  • Clients enjoy portability, which means they can take their insurance policy with them if they were to change jobs.
  • National Life Group term policies come with Living Benefits, which is not usually the case when buying group insurance.

  1. Use of the accelerated benefit riders will reduce the death benefit and may result in a taxable event. Riders are optional, may be available at additional cost, and may not be available in all states.
