2024 Do Good Heroes Winter Winners

We believe in the importance of recognizing those who go above and beyond in service to their communities.

Through our Do Good Heroes program, agents have the unique opportunity to honor the selfless efforts of fire-rescue-EMS and police personnel who make a lasting impact both professionally and personally.

We’re excited to celebrate the outstanding winners from November and December 2024, whose remarkable acts of service exemplify the spirit of compassion and dedication. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the agents who took the time to nominate these heroes and share their incredible stories with us.

Nominating Agent: Scott Storick – Florida Financial and Insurance Agency


Winner:   Tina Guiller – Miami Dade Fire-Rescue

Lt. Tina Guiler of Miami-Dade Fire-Rescue is a trailblazer who has spent over 20 years serving South Florida as a firefighter and paramedic while championing representation and support for others in her field. She founded the Triple F Foundation to assist firefighters facing job-related injuries and illnesses and launched Triple F Dolls, a line of plush dolls representing female firefighters, to inspire young girls and challenge gender stereotypes. Lt. Guiler’s dedication to her community and her mission to empower the next generation make her a true role model and change-maker in firefighting and beyond.

Winner:  Chief Michel Michel – Hallandale Beach Police Department, Hallandale, FL

Chief Michel Michel of the Hallandale Beach Police Department exemplifies community-focused leadership through initiatives like the Police Athletic League’s expansion, programs supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, and fostering trust with events such as Shop with a Cop. His innovative approaches, including health and wellness partnerships and youth engagement activities, have strengthened ties between law enforcement and the Hallandale Beach community.

Winner:  Wallace Lebrane – Richmond County BOE Police Department, Augusta, GA

Officer Wallace Lebrane of the Richmond County BOE Police Department is a trusted mentor and role model at Hephzibah High School, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. Through his daily presence and guidance, he helps students make better choices while supporting the school’s core values. His professionalism and dedication to building a safe, supportive community make a lasting impact.

 

Nominating Agent:  Lola Johnson – Our Infinite Company

Winner:  Robbie Thomas-Williams – Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Houston, TX

Robbie Thomas-Williams of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office plays a vital role in supporting the community through the department’s Community Engagement Unit, serving schools, community centers, and elderly centers. She also aids families of fallen officers and those facing crises through the Family Assistance Unit, providing essential financial and emotional support. Her compassionate service exemplifies dedication to helping others in times of need.

 

Nominating Agents:  Lewis Morrell and Kevin Zebrowski – Protection Red

Winner: Anthony Chen – Firefighter, Chambersburg Fire Department, Chambersburg, PA

Firefighter Anthony Chen of the Chambersburg Fire Department has made a profound impact through his Holidays With Heroes program, which provides local families in need with financial support, gifts, and food. His dedication extends beyond firefighting, including volunteering with Habitat for Humanity to build homes for the community. Chen’s selfless service and commitment to helping others embody the spirit of community leadership and compassion.

 

Nominating Agent:  Lakesha Poplar –  ValuTeachers

Winner:  Ramon  White – Tomball Police Department, Tomball, TX

Officer Ramon “Coco” White of the Tomball Police Department is a devoted community leader who balances his roles as a law enforcement officer and a Tomball ISD school board trustee. Through his advocacy for education and active participation in community outreach programs, he works tirelessly to support and uplift those in need. His dedication to public service and making a positive impact exemplifies true leadership.

 

Nominating Agent: Jay Silvagni of Evolution Financial Group.

Winner: Cherry Hill PBA (full department) – Cherry Hill, NJ

Cherry Hill PBA Local #176 actively supports the Cherry Hill, NJ community through initiatives like food drives, scholarships for high school seniors, toy collections for Shriners Children’s Hospital, and events for veterans. Led by President Steve Warren, the PBA also sponsors programs for children with special needs, donates to pediatric units, and participates in events like the Tunnels to Towers 5K, exemplifying their dedication to giving back.
