State Mandated Retirement Plans and the Opportunity They Create for You!

Transform a burden to a benefit for small business owners by helping them find a more advantageous alternative solution.

Its no secret that we are facing a retirement savings crisis here in the US. While there are many factors contributing to this issue, one that is particularly significant is the lack of retirement plans being offered by businesses throughout this country. Now a movement has commenced at the state level to address this issue through legislation.

Currently, 14 states have laws in place that make it mandatory for businesses to offer retirement plans once they reach a certain number of employees, and many more have pending legislation for state mandated plans as well.*  States that have passed such mandates have also created payroll deducted IRA programs as a solution for businesses to comply.

But these default programs are not the only option that business owners have to comply with the laws in their state.

Solutions exist in the form of SIMPLE and SEP IRA plans which can be customized to align more closely with the goals and objectives of the business owner and their employees.
