November is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month

Discover the power of Living Benefits when it comes to prospecting.

There can be difficulty in having a conversation about Alzheimer’s; however, we have launched an additional accelerated benefits rider this year to enable those conversations to be more uplifting and align with our company’s ongoing vision of helping bring peace of mind to everyone we touch. In addition to the death benefit protection, this rider could help ease the burden if you are diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or Lewy Body Dementia. This rider allows for payment of a portion of an insured’s death benefit, on a discounted basis. ¹ Available for all new life insurance products, depending on state approval.

Did you know?

  • There are over 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s Disease with 3 million new cases diagnosed each year².
  • Alzheimer’s is deadlier than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined².
  • 11 million Americans act as unpaid caregivers for a loved one diagnosed with Alzheimer’s².
  • Fewer than 1 in 5 Americans are familiar with mild cognitive impairment, which can be an early stage of Alzheimer’s².

It is through the experiences of caring for a person with Alzheimer’s that we gain an understanding of the emotional, physical, and financial challenges that this devastating disease brings both to the care receiver and those who care for them. Moreover, there is a possibility that someone may be able to live for a long period of time with this condition.
