Newly Updated Life & Annuity Compliance Manual

The newly revised National Life Group (NLG) Life & Annuity (L&A) Compliance Manual is here! 

Your NLG L &A Compliance Team is excited to send  you the attached NLG Compliance Manual to provide you with the tools you need when selling NLG products and servicing our mutual customers.  This version of the Manual is your guide in navigating regulatory and legal uncertainty and offers “Tips for Success” throughout to assist with Selling Appropriately, Legally, and Ethically (“SALE”).

Most sections have had substantive revisions from the prior version – most notably to the Advertising section.  Additionally, a few new sections have been added:

  • Conflicts of Interest
  • Fair Competition & Unfair Trade Practices
  • Licensing, Appointments, & Terminations
  • Soliciting Business
  • New York Addendum (for those producers licensed and appointed to sell in NY)
