Life Insurance You Don’t Have to Die To Use

Even though Americans know that as they age, they will need care, many do not plan accordingly¹.

An important segment of the population that is growing at a rapid pace is the population over the age of 85. As a result, this group will be faced with the highest demand for services by 2050 with an increase of 208% (triple) in demand. As this segment of society requires greater care, the costs associated with providing that care are also on the rise as well. Despite the fact that Americans are intellectually aware that as they age there will be a need for care, many simply do not take the time to plan accordingly¹. ¹¹

This begs the question, What’s your prospect’s strategy?

If someone does take action in developing a project, it could be because of a care situation touching their life in some way, and they have experienced the impact. Life insurance with living benefits could offer a solution. In addition to providing a death benefit, optional Accelerated Benefits Riders offer protection while alive².  What’s the blind spot?

We believe it’s an awareness that life insurance with living benefits exists and could help address needs while living in addition to leaving a legacy.

2. Living benefits may be provided by riders, which are supplemental benefits that can be added to a life insurance policy and are not suitable unless they also have a need for life insurance.
