December 31 Is the Deadline for LifeChanger of the Year Nominations

Every nomination offers YOU opportunity!

The recognition, camaraderie and pride that comes with each nomination – both for the educator and their school community – is priceless. The same can be said for the exposure and opportunity for access LCOY offers you!

What makes a LifeChanger?

Your nominee for LifeChanger of the Year must demonstrate the following characteristics:

  • Student-centered approach that makes a positive difference in students’ lives

  • Creating a positive school environment

  • Leadership within his/her school and/or district

  • Excellent professional performance record

  • A commitment to creating a nurturing environment

  • Maintaining high moral and ethical standards

Describe how your nominee demonstrates these characteristics on a daily basis.

Here’s what happens after you submit your nomination.

  • Each LifeChanger will have a unique profile* built on our website so their story can be shared. Colleagues, students, friends, and family – anyone who supports the nominee – can visit their LifeChanger’s profile and leave a comment.

  • We share our LifeChangers’ profiles and stories on social media.

  • Each LifeChanger also receives a personalized certificate.

  • We notify the local press about the amazing LifeChangers in their area.

Most importantly, each LifeChanger has a shot of being selected as one of our LifeChanger of the Year winners – which means a chance for them and their schools or districts to win cash prizes! All cash prizes are provided by National Life Group’s charitable arm, the National Life Foundation.

We make sure each and every LifeChanger knows how much they’re appreciated.
