Annuity Rate Illustrations Changing on April 1
10-year backcast shifts to 2013-2022.
On Saturday, April 1, we will update our annuity illustrations. This is an industry-wide change, as required by regulation.
Illustrated rates will now show the period of 2013-2022 instead of 2012-2021. Because indexes performed well in 2012 but were down in 2022, illustrations will show lower rates for the 10-year period.
Participation rates and caps will not be changing.
